— Utah Tech University is kicking off the spring season with its annual Trailblazer Nation Spring Fest, which will feature an egg hunt, live music and game and activity booths for the entire community.
Trailblazer Nation Spring Fest is set to take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on April 17 surrounding Utah Tech’s Gardner Student Center. The fest will feature a free children’s egg hunt at 6 p.m. Additionally, throughout the entire event, free carnival games, live music, special appearances from both Brooks the Bison and the Easter Bunny and food for purchase from local food trucks will be available.
“Utah Tech University loves bringing the community together for our annual Trailblazer Nation Spring Fest,” Brooke Ulrich, director of university events and promotions, said. “It’s a joy to see families, friends and little ones creating lasting memories on our campus.”
The children’s egg hunt will include 20,000 eggs to be found on the UT campus. The hunt is divided by age and include a section for children with special needs. Families are asked to bring their own baskets.
After the egg hunt, live performances and games will continue on until the conclusion of the event at 7:30 p.m.
The event is made possible through a collaboration of Utah Tech’s Student Association, Alumni Association, Center for Inclusion & Belonging, Athletics, Stem Outreach Center and University Events & Promotions.
