Utah Tech University welcomes the entire community to its annual Trailblazer Nation Spring Fest, which will usher in the spring season with activities for everyone.
Trailblazer Nation Spring Fest is set to take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on March 28 on Utah Tech’s Encampment Mall. The fest will feature free children’s egg hunts at 6 p.m. and a Golden Egg Hunt Challenge at 7 p.m. Additionally, throughout the entire event, free carnival games, live music, special appearances from both Brooks the Bison and the Easter Bunny and food for purchase from local food trucks will be available.
“Trailblazer Nation Spring Fest is one of my favorite events that the University hosts each year,” Brooke Ulrich, director of university events and promotions, said. “We love creating fun events for the community to attend, and this one is a great one to add to your traditions list.”
The children’s egg hunt will include 20,000 eggs to be found on the UT campus. The hunts are divided by age and include a section for children with special needs. Families are asked to bring their own baskets.
For the children at heart, the Golden Egg Hunt is returning with the opportunity to win major prizes by following clues over the course of a scavenger hunt. Open to individuals 16 and older, the Golden Egg Hunt costs $15 requires registration. The rest of the activities are free to the public.
The event is made possible through a collaboration of Utah Tech’s Student Association, Alumni Association, Center for Inclusion & Belonging, Athletics, Stem Outreach Center and University Events & Promotions.
