Utah Tech University is kicking off the spring season with its annual Trailblazer Nation Spring Fest, which will feature an egg hunt, live music and game and activity booths for the entire community.
Trailblazer Nation Spring Fest, which is free to the community, is set to take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on April 2 surrounding Utah Tech’s Gardner Student Center. The fest will feature a children’s egg hunt at 6 p.m. Additionally, throughout the entire event, carnival games, interactive inflatables, live music, special appearances from both Brooks the Bison and the Easter Bunny and food for purchase from local food trucks will be available.
“I love getting to host this event on our campus,” Brenna McCue, events and promotions coordinator for Utah Tech, said. “Spring in St. George is a little warmer than normal this year—even for us—but it’s the perfect time to kick off one of the best parts of living here: being outside, soaking in the scenery and spending time with great people. Having the community come together to celebrate the season truly feels like a warm hug.”
The children’s egg hunt will include 20,000 eggs to be found on the UT campus. The hunt is divided by age and include a section for children with special needs. Families are asked to bring their own baskets.
After the egg hunt, live performances and games will continue on until the conclusion of the event at 7:30 p.m.
The event is made possible through a collaboration of Utah Tech’s Alumni Association, Stem Outreach Center and University Marketing & Communication. To learn more about Utah Tech University’s Trailblazer Nation Spring Fest, visit utahtech.edu/springfest.
