“I am pleased to add Dr. Brian Sandusky to the Utah Tech University team as our newest vice president,” Utah Tech University President Shane B. Smeed said. “It is my vision that bringing our enrollment management, marketing and innovation functions under unified leadership will strengthen alignment across these vital areas — advancing student recruitment and institutional visibility.”

Sandusky brings more than 25 years of experience in strategic marketing, enrollment management, and industry and economic development, with a strong record of expanding access to higher education, strengthening institutional visibility and creating partnerships that support industry and student success.

“Through strong industry partnerships, hands-on learning, and a clear polytechnic mission, Utah Tech University is a thought leader in how it prepares students to succeed in today’s workforce,” Sandusky said. “I’m excited to build on this momentum by strengthening connections between students, employers and the community in ways that create meaningful opportunities and lasting impact.”

In his role at Utah Tech, Sandusky will focus on brand strategy and enrollment management while advancing the university’s polytechnic mission.
