Earl Foote, founder and CEO of Nexus IT, is set to present “From Hustle to Heights: My 27-Year Journey Bootstrapping Nexus IT” as part of Utah Tech University’s Elkington Founder Speaker Series later this month.
Foote will present at noon on Feb. 25 in the Zion Room, located on the fifth floor of the Holland Centennial Commons on the Utah Tech campus. Pizza will be available before the event, at 11:30 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.
“Entrepreneurship isn’t just about the hustle; it’s about resilience, vision and the lessons learned along the way,” Foote said. “In sharing my 27-year journey bootstrapping Nexus IT, I hope to inspire others to embrace the challenges, stay true to their purpose and realize that success is built one bold step at a time.”
As founder and CEO of the managed service provider that offers IT services and support for large and small companies across Utah, Foote has guided Nexus IT to prestigious accolades including multiple placements on the Inc. 5000, which identifies the fastest-growing privately-held companies in the U.S., and CRN’s Pioneer 250 list.
In addition to his business success, Foote is passionate about the outdoors, music, yoga, meditation and mindfulness. Whether on the slopes, stage, mat or in the boardroom, Foote strives to make an impact through both his work and his personal life.
“As we navigate the continually changing landscape of innovation, it’s important that we bring together experts from tech, business and the community to drive meaningful change and discussions that foster growth,” Wendy Elkington Stabler, co-founder and organizer of the event, said. “This series presents a unique opportunity for collaboration between the university and the community, enabling us to explore these possibilities together.”
