Showcasing dancing and singing in a variety of performances, the Utah Tech University Entertainment Alliance is presenting its annual Fall Spectacular for two evenings this semester.
Both shows will feature performances by Utah Tech performing groups Fusion, Ballroom Dance Company, Blaze, Program Bureau, A cappella and the academic Dance Program. Local community groups including Hurricane High School ballroom teams, On Stage Dance Studio, and others also will perform. Fall Spectacular is set to take place at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 8 and 9 in the Eccles Main Stage Theater on Utah Tech’s campus.
“I’m excited for this year’s Fall Spectacular,” Del Beatty, UT’s vice president of Student Affairs, said. “There was so much energy and excitement last year, and enjoying a show that features so many of the amazing Utah Tech University Entertainment Alliance groups is something I look forward to each year.”
The Fall Spectacular is one of more than 100 performances UT’s Entertainment Alliance puts on each year, allowing student-performers to gain professional-level experience while providing the Southern Utah community with cultural experiences.
“I took my entire family to the Fall Spectacular last year,” Aaron Randall, managing partner of Thompson, Randall, & Mellen, said. “We all immensely enjoyed it and are looking forward to this year’s performance.”
Utah Tech’s Entertainment Alliance provides engaging performances to local schools, businesses and organizations in addition to touring internationally. Entertainment Alliance, featuring students from all six of the university’s academic colleges, promotes Utah Tech’s “active learning. active life.” approach to education through its performances each year.
Tickets for Utah Tech University Entertainment Alliance’s Fall Spectacular are $15 and available at utahtech.evenue.net/list/TA. Advance purchase of tickets is recommended, but they also will be available for purchase at the door.
