Dixie State University is growing by leaps and bounds — not only is enrollment up this year to nearly 9,000 students, but new degrees are also being offered.
One of those degrees is a Bachelor’s of Science in digital film. The addition comes with the acquisition of a new film studio located atop the old airport in St. George. DSU Assistant Professor of Communication Phil Tuckett said the goal is to eventually build the first public film school in Utah.
