Dixie State University announced Wednesday the appointment of Dr. Richard Featherstone as the institution's new Dean of the Humanities. Featherstone, who will assume his new duties this July 1, replaces longtime DSU faculty member and dean Dr. Donald Ray Hinton, who retired last December after nearly 40 years of service at Dixie State.
