Dixie State University received a $4,000 scholarship gift from the Questar Corporation Thursday. Questar Southern Utah Manager Gae Lynn Froyd and Operations Manager Brett W. Brown presented the gift to DSU President Dr. Richard B. Williams in a morning meeting.
The scholarship funds will distributed through the Dixie College Foundation to provide opportunities to students pursing bachelor's degrees in business, communication, science or technology fields related to Questar's industry.

"We are very grateful to the Questar Corporation for its generous donation to our scholarship fund and we appreciate the company's continued support of Dixie State University," President Williams said. "These resources will allow us to prepare our students with the education and training they will need to enter the work force and provide needed services in our community."
"We appreciate the contribution Dixie State University is making to higher education, economic development and the our quality of life in Utah," said Ronald W. Jibson, Chairman, President and CEO of Questar Corporation.
